About the event
Medics and Me will be hosting our second FREE problem based learning (PBL) sessions on Wednesday 28th of October at 6:30pm. This is aimed at year 12 and year 13 students who are interested in applying to medicine. This will be an interactive session in which you will gain valuable insight into the importance of demonstrating your Commitment to Medicine.
PBL is a method of learning, in which students discuss real-life scenarios and problems, and work together to find a solution. This is a very common approach to teaching in medicine as it develops many skills including teamwork, communication, problem solving and critical thinking.
Participating in a PBL session will provide you with crucial skills which will help with both interview preparation and writing your personal statement.
