Our goal is to enable, support and inspire students to pursue a career in medicine.
APPROACH
Medics&Me is a widening access charity for medicine, founded by two medical students... we have grown to a team of over 300 volunteers. We are proudly paired to non-selective state schools, providing their students with the resources, skills and knowledge to excel in their application to medical school and beyond.
As a charity, our values are:
VALUES
We give students the tools to excel in their medical application and life beyond via an education programme, integrated into the non-selective state schools we are paired to.
Enable
Every student on the programme is supported by their personal mentor, who is on hand to answer questions, provide extra guidance and tailored support.
Support
We inspire students and build their confidence in pursuing medicine as a career, students have access to regular events with practicing doctors and we have developed our own work experience programme.
